Ok, first off Holy shit.
I literally said "oh my god" out load at least 25 times while watching.
There was so much going on and the cases were so intense. I was like in shock about the baby and her sick brother, and what the mother did, OMG. When I saw how small that baby was it like broke my heart. And the case with Cooper, wow that was so intense.
On a lighter note, Hot Cop was looking fine :p But yeah aw he's so adorable, although I did feel bad for Pete. I also felt bad for Violet, being ditched by Cooper, and I'm glad Cooper was forward with Charlotte about what he wanted out of the relationship. I was also so sad when Dell quit, poor guy :(
Overall the episode was honestly perfect. It had funny moments, sad moments, tense moments, and so many more in between. It felt kinda like the quality of a season 2 Grey's episode (aka amazing). I'm so looking forward to the episodes to come and if this episode is any indication of how the rest of the season will be, then wow. I can't wait!

I was definitely blown away. I guess I'm used to being disappointed by premieres so I always go into them with a certain amount of pessimism, but it was in solid form. I love having a little Baddison back! She rocked that surgery (and speaking of, what a horrible decision to have to make!). I liked that there was a little internal battle for either Pete or Hot Cop. Can't say I'm thrilled she chose HC, but we'll see how it goes :lol:

I also liked how there were actual conflicts within the practice. Naomi's mad at Addison and vice versa, Dell's fed up with Naomi, Violet's slightly pissed at Cooper, etc. It makes them seem more like real coworkers and friends. I enjoyed them actually going outside the practice too - especially because they were in front of the coffee shop where I totally busted my butt one time I was in Santa Monica, whoops!

Anyway, very good episode! I'm looking forward to this season even more now :D

The episode was AWESOME! Shonda is off to a great start.

I really loved and was compelled with all the storylines. I loved the "family thing" theme. Very fitting.

The scenes with Addison and Naomi were amazing. I am really interested more in their friendship now because of the tension.

Addison and HotCop were really cute. Im glad she told Pete "no". I dont think she needs that right now. Like she said she needs someone who is "not in her world".

Addison was totally kick ass!

I really like the medical cases now. I dont know crap about medical stuff but I can form a moral or ethical opinion.

I like Cooper and Charlotte.

That.. was unlike any other episode of PrP I've seen. Seriously. They've really stepped it up from last season and yeah, brought back "the Addison we've grown to know and love".

I'm very, very unabashedly looking forward to next week's episode.

And Addison and Kevin? Hot. And Charlotte and Cooper are amazing.

I cannot even believe it. It was sooo amazing. So Intense. I agree with everything Britt said. Like, the Addie/Naomi/Sam, thing was crazy. I freaked when Dell quit, even though he was never a favorite of mine. Nobody shoot me *begs*, but I am really starting to like Pete less and less. He's just not so appealing anymore. I have to say I cannot wait for more Hot Cop-ness!! Forreal, he is awesome. Kate looked sooo good, and every time Addie got mad I was just like "wow". And would rewind because Kate is just way to amazing for words. I feel like I am saying she has a spilt personality. But you guys get it! :P OH AND ALSO, OMG THE ADDIE/NAOMI FRIENDSHIP HAS ME IN COMPLETE SHOCK AND AWE.
I looove it. I can tell this will be a passionate subject for me. Lmfao.

Wow...wow...wow. I cried like a baby in the end when Nae left and Addi was looking at her and yeah I bawled like a baby, I basically had been tearing up the whole epi, but that was pretty much my undoing. There really isn't much left to say that all of you guys haven't said already but I will just say that PrP is back and better than ever, and the Addison that we all know is back and better than ever (although she still has some of her first season PrP Addie awesomeness which I love). Kudos to Shonda and her team of writers they really got it right this time, there was just the perfect amount of drama and comedy and all the storylines were linked perfectly, and were interesting, and all the guest stars were amazing. Like I am so happy right now and so completely psyched for next week :)

On a more shallow note Addison is dating Kevin, YAY! Take that Pete :p

Oh and was it just me or did anyone else have a flashback to the K-Town "incident" when they showed the scene with all the gals getting coffee? tehe!

Oh my god. I just saw it! Someone posted it on the internet and oh my god...I swear, the end made me sad. REALLY SAD. :cry: I feel so bad for Naomi, when she came to Sam's place, when she walked out...the look on her face when she said to Addison, "You told him?"

I love this premiere!

And Addison, oh my god, I fell in love all over again! I love the whole surgery scene, waaaay better than the ones she did on GA! And as always, she was fabulous! She looked gorgeous, so gorgeous...and oh, the look on her face, when Naomi looked at her after the whole $100 thing and the scene where Addison told Sam in his office...Oh, I can't wait for the next ep, how Naomi and Addison would be facing each other...Oh, I love this...I expect emotional moments with Naomi and Addison--girlfight, that's for sure...

I love the Addison and Naomi scenes, I'm sure I will love the coming ones too. They have a lot to fix. This "betrayal" will be a hurdle. Addison did what she knew was right, Naomi trusted her, but something had to be done.

And the Dell thing too. I really feel so bad for him...he was there for Naomi and she was being pulled in all sorts of directions, no one was listening to him...but he was there for her...

*sigh* GREAT, AMAZING, STUNNING episode...

The end broke my heart, when they showed the OWG talking about being a family...that made me tear up!

BEAUTIFUL, SAD, AMAZING...everything was perfect. Even the hot cop thing...and PETE? Going back to his Casanova ways? And the cases were amazing...I was reeling from Addison's case. My heart broke for the baby girl... and I totally cringed from the knitting needle thing.

Okay. Ranting over.

I LOVE this episode. Addison was great, beautiful and everthing perfect. Naomi gave a moving performance, gotta hand it to Audra. The Naomi and Sam thing, I'm waiting for that. And Addison and Kevin leaves me wondering what's happening in the future and also with Pete.

And LOL on Charlotte King! Ew at times, really, but funny! I loved her scene with Addison too "Where have you been all my medical life?" And Violet...*sigh* she needs fixing. Monkeys might help!

Wow it was an amazing episode (I have just watch it), I loved the case and addie play it very well, if I was her I will be desagree with the mother, poor baby, she gonna suffer for long weeks :(.

I'm sad for pete, and dell was funny when he was pissed off. :)

I so loved it!! I really like the change, it seems a little "deeper" and does not longer scratch on the surface (for me the first season felt like this). Those stories were so intense and touching and Kate and Audra did an amazing job. I really like that Addison is back to her bossy self. And I really loved the Charlotte/Addison moment with the baby. Charlotte and Cooper are just hilarious. I felt sorry for Pete but I also think I can get used to Addi and HotCop.

Can't wait for the next episode.

I did love the episode although I always need to watch it at least twice before I can really remember what exactly happened and pick out my favorite parts.

One thing that bugged me though is that I feel like there should have been a way to withdraw some of the cord blood without delivering. It reminds me of a PUBS procedure, which I've assisted with, where some of the baby's cord blood is withdrawn to check for anemia caused by Rh sensitization. So basically, you withdraw the baby's blood, have someone run it to the blood bank, they run the test and if the baby is anemia you can transfuse it in utero. Sooooo it makes sense to me that you would be able to just draw blood. It is risky, but not nearly as risky of course as delivering a 26 weeker.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll have more thoughts later; need to watch again.

Amazing. Loved the episode more then I thought I would!
It flowed & hit all the right notes. I cried, laughed & smiled throughout & I never wanted it to end!

Kate showed what an amazing actress she is even more too. Well they all did, I love this cast & this show.

I just loved every minute of it, I can't be any more specific, still too overwhelmed by the whole of the episode... :love:
Now they really kept their promises about S2!!!

Edit: Okay one thing I really liked and enjoyed troughout the episode was that Addison really took care of things.That is just so addie :D

And I guess the episode as a whole felt a little bit like an exposition from a classic drama where all the conflicts are introduced as such and then you just HAVE to continue watching to see what happens next...

@amandaplease: Believe or not but I thought about that, too. not that I know something about medicine but I mean they have prenatal tests and even prenatal surgeries... but yeah, like I said, I don't really know something about that so it won't bother me :)

That was a GREAT episdode! Great stories and very interesting cases! I cried for that baby girl and her brother too...so sad...
I love Hot Cop showing at Addison's door...but I also feel sorry for Pete...he really cares now...

And...I noticed that in the first scene in the shop Addison is wearing Kate's shoes (or at least they're very similar...)...the ones she wore at that lexus thing, Chrisalys and on jimmy kimmel too...

But I swear I just can't stand Kevin. :/ I felt really sorry for Pete. My Paddie heart was breaking.

I loved the episode. More pace & direction than last season. The whole cast bought their A-game, but Kate & Audra were especially brilliant.

I'm glad Pete was the one doing the chasing this time, but I loved the little we saw of HotCop!, the scene at Addie's door was very cute.

Ended on a great scene too, can't wait to see what happens next week :)

Anyone know if HotCop! is in next week's ep ? DS is not listed on the ABC press release as a guest-star, so maybe he is the person Addie is talking to on the phone in the promo clip :confused:

Wow! Great episode. Better than anything in the first season. Medical cases, financial troubles, personal storylines, everything was perfect.

All cast is great, and Kate and Audra were stellar in this eppy.

I don't like HotCop. When he appeared first time he was cute, but later at her door :wonky: It was creepy, he was like a stalker. And why didn't he just tell her, that he is going for training, but just blew her off? :wonky:

There's a big difference between what Pete did and what Kevin did. Addison just met Kevin went out with him once and they talked about going out on another date. I get the impression there was no set time for said date, he just never called her back to ask her out again, and it was only two weeks. So what, he had a lot going on. He might not have even know before that night he was getting shipped off for swat training. As soon as he was done he came to talk to her. It not like they had been dating a few weeks and he blew her off.

Pete on the other had spends weeks telling Addison he didn't want anything serious. Then he pretty much begs her to spend the night with him. He intended their night to include sex and maybe, just maybe things would work out. She agrees then he completely blows her off with out one word. I don't blame her for not wanting to risk a relationship with Pete right now, especially when things were ready to implode at work.

I have to say I really like the whole Cooper/Charlotte bit. Also, I never really liked Pete that much. But I think it's also mainly because we've only seen 10 episodes of him, instead of 24, to get used to his character.
And the part that 'got me' was when the commercial played at the end with Addie talking about family.
But great epi.

And I was thinking a bit about that too Amanda. Coz I know they can run tests on the baby while its still in the womb, so why not withdraw the blood? Anyway, I'm sure there's something behind it you will work out soon :)
