Okay guys, you can talk about the Music on Private Practice here, please do not upload music and post it here!

We don´t want to get in trouble for allowing such things, and we hope that you understand that.

We do have a Private Practice Music Channel on youtube
PRP Music on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/privatepracticemusic) where most of the music will be by next week and you can also download the songs on LJ here (http://community.livejournal.com/musicontv)

We hope that you enjoy this thread though because there are some really good songs that they play on Private Practice

I've got nearly all the songs they have had on PrP downloaded from iTunes but there's some which are not on there which is annoying.
I love the music they use on the show so much.

I loved that last song tonight! "Achin all times" or something like that.. I can't find it anywhere... If somebody has a hint :D It isn't on iTunes...

But like Amanda mentioned... why did they chose that Sia song again? I really like it but there are so many songs out there!
This epi really had a lac of music! Just two songs and no opening song... what happened to the great music editors?!?

The song is "Achin all the time" by Ray LaMontagne and according to this website (http://www.allcdcovers.com/show/113552/ray_lamontagne_gossip_in_the_grain_2008_retail_cd/cd) it's supposed to be on his new album "Gossip in the Grain". But it is not. Couldn't find it either.

Yeah it has not been released yet, unfortunately, and I really would love to know why they re used the Sia song, it just speaks of pure laziness on behalf of everyone involved in choosing the music.

I guess the no music was trying to set the tone of the episode.

Also the Sia song is one of my favourites but wish they didn't re-use it. Oh well.

I really liked it too and looked for it earlier. It's a big shame its only on youtube live. I don't like listening to live versions of songs unless I am at a show. Hopefully it will be released soon.

Oh I wish that would happen but I don't hold out much hope. They didn't do one for Season 4 of Grey's so I think they've stopped doing them.

I have most of the songs on iTunes from both shows anyway, but it would be great to have a cd of the best ones...
