Anyone else here the rumours about how Dempsey is thinking of quitting Grey's because he doesn't like his character? SOmething along the lines of that Derek is 'going nowhere'? I heard it on the radio this morning, but I don't really believe it coz Shonda saying MerDer getting and staying together is pretty much his chracter finally being somewhere.

Well since I don't get to see Grey's tonight, I'm going to talk about Lost-which starts in T-20 minutes. Last episode was of Jin and Sun and SPOILER


Jin died at the end. Or did he? His death date was that of the island crash. Which I think means his one of the people left on the island who they can't talk about. This show was getting a bit boring at one stage but for me it's shot straight back- I'm really getting into it again.

And can I just ad, this episoe of Ghost Whisperer is really morbid. There's a lady who was locked in a mental instituion whilst it was being burned down, along with all the other patients. And all the footage of the dark institution keeps reminding me of the end of Girl, Interrupted when Lisa and Susanna fight.

LOL, talk about the ramblings. But in my defence, it is the random thread.

Im sorry, I hate to interrupt this conversation. But I need to rant (you can ignore me if you want)...I went to the store today. I anxiously went to pick up the People Magazine the 100 Most Beautiful Edition to see if Kate was in it. NO KATE out of 100 freaking people. Seriously People Magazine? Yeah, I've got no idea what H&M is. I know it's a clothes store but that's it. Probably like me saying most of my stuff is from Jay Jays and Cotton On....and surf brands. I bought this really awesome Billabong jacket the other week, it's super warm and is like padded and has a hood with the fur trim...yeah.

Well, I just got back from the footy. The local NRL team- Knights- were playing the Titans- the team my brother supports. I don't know why he supports them, its not like we live anywhere near the Gold Coast, but then again, I can't talk because for some strange reason I go for the Brisbane Broncos, lol. Anyways, Knights won 13-12 because they got a Field Goal with about 10min to go in the second half, the Titans tried and converted and brought their score from 6 up to 12. It was really cold too, but a least tonight it didn't rain like a fortnight ago when we went and saw the Broncos. It started pouring at second half and everyone around us left. And when w got home and watched it on TV, coz we had second row seats, whenever they played out part of the field all you could see in the crown were these 3 figures in ponchos surrounded bu empty chairs, lol.

And I just realised how big this is, so basically you know the history of NRL now, lol.

Oh, and it sucks Kate wasn't on the People's list. She didn't make FHM's list this year either :( 52

I know! The first rumours I heard is that it was going to air right after easter, but then I guess the wriers strike ended and more GA episodes were made, so they're pushing it back- this is all meguessing btw.
And I know the hype with Kate in Aus was big with me... (see Teelke's map, lol) but it wasn't that big really. Yeah, sure, she had quite a few radio interviews- but nothing huge on TV or anything, and the info in the newspapers about her being here were only small too.

Haha, that's pretty cool. I wonder wether every case is real sometimes. As for number 3: I could have so kicked Alex's ass in that. We did it at school one time and I totally won! It was weird though coz I was the only girl who'd do it and I beat all the 'macho' guys lol. They were getting paid off about it for days!

Anyway, I wanted to ask you all something. I've been researching and thinking about going on a Student Exchange program for a while now. But I'm still not really sure I want to do it. I've been in contact with a few reputable organistions and they all seem really great. My parents are pretty cool with me doing it- they see the huge opportunities and everything. I'd probably go for about 3-6 months, depending on the location and the program. So let's just imagine that the whole cost issue is settled and now I need a country to go to. As we all know, we're all pretty multicultural and I was hoping you'd all be able to give me some advice on a good country to go to. I've been thinking about Great Britain personally, because I think the school system might be a bit the same- as in understandable, lol. Yeah, so whatever advice you've got, please tell me!

^ Yeah England would be cool, the school system is practically the same as it would be in AUS, as is the case with most countries in the commonwealth (like the Caribbean has a similar school system to England, which is why I came here for Uni) Plus England is amazing, and beautiful, and the people are really nice, and London is IMO one of the best cities ever!

I mean you could always go to the States but wouldn't the fact that their school system is different mean that you would be ahead of them? workwise I mean.... or like you would probably get confused and stuff. I dunno I would pick England (and no it is not just because I live here)

And your parents are right, it would be a fantastic opportunity.

Yeah, I've never had any real want to visit the US. I'd love to go to New York eventually and LA for the beach, but not really at the moment- when I'm older. Plus, you don't really get to choose where exactly you go- like city wise, and all of the UK sort of appeals to me- I've always wanted to go there for one thing, can't explain why though.
And I'm really glad you like England- I've heard mixed reviews....

Yeah, you apply to country or region and they use all the information about your personality and stuff to try and match you up with a suitable host family which can be anywhere in the country. Some organisations offer this thing for certain countries, mainly the US and France from what I've seen, where you pay extra money and get to choose a basic area to go to, but it costs a fair amount.
Already knowing English has is pros and cons. I could go to say the UK, fit in straight away with the language or go to another country and learn another language. But then again, it would be harder in a different language speaking country, especially since I'm not looking to go for a year.

So Sunday was Mother's day and I was busy, Monday and Tuesday I was sick, stayed home from school and pretty much slept and watch GA episodes all day. Yesterday I went on an excursion to Sydney for a Youth Road and Trauma Forum. It was about driving and safety and stuff. It was pretty good and it was a fun day, bus trips with my friends always are. Me and two of my friends were scouting for some hot guys and then followed some around for a while until we got bored, lolz.
And today I came home from school early as we had sport and I still don't feel 100% to be outside playing soccer (unfortunately, coz I like soccer :(). Now I've been on the internet for the past 2 and a half hours catching up on everything I usually do daily on the net.

I think you should audition Maarit!
You have to be 16 to audition in Aus, and they have auditions where I live but you have to pass those ones and then you have to go for another audition in a capital city i.e: Sydney. So next year some friends and me want to go down to Sydney and audition together, lol. We want to get on the 'blooper' section, haha. Oh, and I thought I should ad- none of us can sing anywhere remotely considered passable :)

The whole AJ thing has been pretty big everywhere. The rumours were around for ages but now since she's confirmed it is actually twins, well Jack Black did anyway (that was pretty funny), it's like HUGE news, even tough everyone already *knew*. But one of the things that sort of annoys me a bit is the fact that when Ange talks about the Burma cyclone and China earthquake it's something amazing and gets publicised. But other reports from Cannes tells of all of these actors who are saying similar things yet not being widely broadcast about it. I'm not bagging out AJ or anything, I think she's a great actress and humanitarian, but its just that everyone else deserves to be heard too. Then, on another note, it's sorta hard to tell whether some of these other actors actually do care about these issues like AJ, or just jumping on the bandwagon trying to get their own personal bit of publicity....

OMG Grey's last night! It was fan-freaking-tastic!!!! It was the Addison episode! But jeez I hate ebecca so much now, she's just annoying. And toying with Alex like that *shakes head* tut tut tut. And all the Callie/Hahn parts were funnily awkward. But Addie's whole raised eye brow- just all her expressions through the episode- were classic! And the part where Cristina trys to talk girl- "does that hurt...your heart?" lol. And the- "We screw boys like whores on tequila", "Than either mtry to marry them or drown ourselves!" ROFLMFAO!!!!

Ad then Brothers and Sisters- I did not stop laughing the entire episode- no exaggeration! It was the episode when it was Rebecca birthday, or as Sarah says- 'the new one', lol. But that show is just classic. It was also funny today because one of my friends called me 'Oh Great One' (IDK why though, lol) and on B&S, Nora called Kitty 'Oh Wise One' and Kitty brought it up again later one, but it just made me laugh. *simulates laughing* Hahaha!

And I'm pretty sure I'm gonna convince my Mum to let me pre-order PrP and GA on Amazon coz it is som much cheaper than what it will cost in store here- mainly because the Aussie dollar is almost at par with the US. (It's buying like 97.4 cents or something, which is awesome since it used to be like 60 cents, back in the day....)

Oh and Photobucket should go jump off a cliff. I'd upload an image of it jumping off a cliff, but I can't because photobucket isn't working for me, is it? NO!

Oh my gosh I am sooo sad right now...Yesterday in Dakar 81 (Yes 81) whales washed up on shore and no one really knew what to do, a lot of the locals thought that it was "spirits" and that it would be bad luck to move them so out of 81, 33 died, one of them right next to my house so we went to look at it...gosh I could have cried, it was just a baby! Poor little thing! There was blood all over the place, running into the ocean, and the smell was soooooo bad! But I still touched its tail coz I wanted to see what it felt like! (rubbery and squishy lol)

Anyway just wanted to share!

I have some bad news. Ya know that blog, by the the actress who is going to be in Kate's movie. Well I checked her blog today for a possible update to see when they are going to film the scene she is supposed to be in with Kate and others. She changed her blog, it is all professional now. So, I highly doubt we will get anything about how it was working on the set with Kate and others and probaly no set pics. Damn.

Some good news, I found a new love/fandom Dancing with the Stars, too bad it is over now. On my free time yesterday though I watched old performances on youtube. So, it will keep me occupied til we get new Kate stuff. Yay.

Awww, thats sad about the whales. And so....random really. And they look so 'small' considering, you know, the fact tha they're whales....I can't really recall, but I remember a little while ago there was someting about this whale near where I live and they tried to rescue it but it died and then there was a huge discussion over what to do with the body, and it was an adult. Yeah totally vague, lol.
And tere was this once we went to this beach when we were up the coast and there was a rotting whale carcass on th beach....it was disgusting.

How did soccer go? I like soccer! Our local team- the Newcastle Jets- won the A-League Grandfinal this season just past! Against their 'rivals' the Mariners.
And speaking of sports, NSW won the 1st State of Origin in NRL! I think it's a good thing, lol, coz I'm never really sure with me supporting the Broncos, who are a QLD team, and all. But NSW had Peter Wallace, who plays for Broncos, so there you go. Guess I'm supporting the cockroaches!

OK so check out what I just read on the IMDB message board for Legion.....

Indeed, they are filming in a remote area. It is beautiful, pristine and undeveloped. It is also on my route to/from work.

First, the site is ugly and I certainly hope they clean it up to the state it was before they built the site.

Second, they have been blocking traffic for an hour at a time (despite the NM state trooper's assurance that it's only for 20 minute blocks). I am either on my way to my job as an ER nurse (LATE...despite leaving early) or on my way home after an exhausting 12 hour shift (and it's already a 1 hr commute each way!)

I don't ever intend to see this film (who needs another hollywood Christian-bashing film), but I will certainly be glad when they wrap.

That was posted last week Thursday, dunno how true it is, but OK I forgive Kate now, I mean she is literally in the middle of no where....I don't think they have paps in the middle of no where...LOL
